We are delighted to announce the signing of versatile player Owen Mitchell following a spell in Australia.

The 21 year old started his senior career at Newcastle Blue Star before making the move to West Allotment Celtic towards the end of the 24/25 season, Mitchell enjoyed a spell in Australia with Springfield United last season before moving back to England ready for the new campaign.

Comfortable in a number of positions, Owen adds versatility, energy and quality to the squad as we continue our preparations for the new season.

Following his signing, Owen said:

“I couldn’t be happier to sign for Blyth Town, a club that is moving in the right direction. Knowing most of the lads made it an easy decision for me. The pre season has been top draw from everyone so I can’t wait to get started now.”
