Established in February 1995, Blyth Town started out as a junior football club with only 3 football teams. Since then our numbers have increased and we now have a mini, junior boys and girls section as well as a Sunday team and a First team.
Our girls/ladies section has been such a huge success and is growing yearly thanks to the dedicated coaches we have. A large number of the girls have successfully moved into the professional game, some of whom have represented their country at international level.
In December 2002 we became the first ‘Community Club’ in the North East, which led, in 2007, to the Club receiving grant aid from The Football Foundation to build our own fantastic facilities in Blyth.
If you’d like any further information about joining any of our teams or popping along on a Saturday morning to take part in the NUFC Foundation please feel free to get in touch, we’d be happy to help.
