Gavin Fell has stepped down as joint manager with immediate effect.
After announcing his departure, Gavin commented “I have loved my time at Blyth Town and would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the players, supporters, volunteers and committee, a special mention Scott Douglas and Daz who have been amazing to work with, also the management team Connors, Paddy, Milly, Ruff and Emily, who have been immense in my time at the club.
I wish the club all the success in the world, the time was right for me to step away, the enjoyment wasn’t there for me and when that time comes you know it’s right to move on.
What’s been achieved over the last 3 years has been superb, and I leave very proud of all the achievements.
Cheers Gav”
First Team Chair Scott Douglass adds “It’s very disappointing that Gavin has called time on a hugely successful period in Blyth Towns history. FA Vase Run, League Champions, Senior Cup Final and Playoff Winners. We have shared some very special times. I would like to place on record my thanks for the Friendship, professionalism, hard work, success and support over that last few years. Thank You Gav”
Micheal Conner will continue as Blyth Town Manager
