Blyth Town FC VS Whitley Bay

Blyth Town return to Northern League division 1 action following weeks break as we welcome local opposition in the form of Whitley Bay.

Blyth return to their home soil of Gateway Park for the first time in over 2 weeks as we welcomed Blackpool based Squires Gate in the FA Vase with Blyth running out as 4-2 winners .

Blyth headed to Yarm & Eaglescliffe for their latest fixture with an Owen Mitchell red card in the 35 minute changing the rhythm of the game before substitute  Bailey Adamson fired a penalty home on 85 minutes, Blyth were almost certain the game was dead and buried before Yarm equalised agonisingly in the 95 minute.
